She is based in Brande with studio and gallery in Hvide Sande. She loves the open spaces and the high blue sky with its changing moods. It is here in the middle of nature that she finds inspiration and lets her imagination run wild.

The main source of the figures and symbols found in all her paintings comes from intense observations of people and what happens between them.

In Ayo's color scheme, the color blue is rarely omitted. The sky above us colors the day and is reflected in everything. Blue gives peace and balance.
