The Lord

Die Herren has toured the whole of Denmark with U2's fantastic songs and lyrics for more than 30 years, and more than 2500 concerts have been held since 1991!

It has surprised many in the audience (and Die Herren himself) how eminently U2's music works live. The Lord has visited BrandeRock several times and they just keep getting better and better, so we look forward to a welcome reunion.

Die Herren has played the songs in all possible imaginable and unimaginable contexts.
From shows with large sound systems and extensive light shows, to very small, intimate concert venues. At festivals, in concert halls, venues (large and small), in churches and tents, at educational institutions, bars and care centers – both outdoors and indoors. Die Herren has performed for concert and festival guests, companies, associations, deployed soldiers and veterans, churchgoers, confirmation students, high school students, pensioners and individuals and many, many more.

U2's music and lyrics can be played for everyone - just adapt the songs and the presentation to the listeners, the place and the circumstance! With "U2-Trip", Die Herren, as always, wants to give the audience a musical journey into U2's musical universe. A journey that they themselves might not have seen coming or expected! The audience must feel welcome and valued – involved and sucked into the concert, so that they go home with an experience
surprise and energy.

One is surprised by how intense and present U2's songs become in Die Herren's interpretations. Die Herren gives the songs new life and new energy in the present, without losing the U2 touch of history. One, With or Without Your, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Vertigo, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, Where the Streets Have No Name, New Years Day and all the other great songs that work so well live will be naturally part of the U2 Trip.

Die Herren can do something with the music that U2 themselves have not been able to do for many years, namely to bring it out to even the smallest places. U2 only play in large arenas, usually never for less than 20.000 people. Die Herren makes a virtue of the fact that the concerts must be close and present. Their mission is to reach "all" audiences right down to the back row.

The audience is invited and encouraged to become an important part of the concert, which of course always has the stated goal of becoming Die Herren's "best to date".
