Gormosen is an old bog area close by Brande town. Gormosen is a beautiful oasis with a lot of exciting bird life, where many birds come on the move. There is a footpath around the peat pit, so there is ample opportunity for walking.

At the bog, there are also marked hiking trails of approx. 1,5 km. Here you can experience both the lake and a lot of exciting and different vegetation.

Gormosen is also known for a very large population of hooded gulls. In fact, it is one of Central Jutland's largest colonies. In addition to hooded gulls, you can also spot Black-throated Grebes and Grey-throated Grebes.

Gormosen is a super cozy and delicious place to enjoy your packed lunch, so it's just a matter of finding your walking shoes and getting going.
